To enhance and improve the lives of my patients by educating them as to how their body works, how to improve and strengthen the body, and how to manage any injuries that interfere with your body’s ability to express health.  Maximizing your physical / athletic potential, allowing you to enjoy the activities that you love, and maximizing your ability to heal and recover after an injury.

Mission Statement:

To enhance and improve the lives of my patients by educating them as to how their body works, how to improve and strengthen the body, and how to manage any injuries that interfere with your body’s ability to express health.  Maximizing your physical / athletic potential, allowing you to enjoy the activities that you love, and maximizing your ability to heal and recover after an injury.

Dr. Chance Biography

Education:

I have been treating patients in the East Bay with effective, gentle, research based chiropractic care since 2007.  I am an East Bay native, having grown up in Martinez and attending De La Salle High School in Concord.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University in 2001.  I went back to school a few years later and received my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life Chiropractic College West in 2007.

Professional Experience:

Since receiving my BS in 2001, I have worked in the East Bay as a personal trainer / strength coach.  Through my work in the fitness industry, I was able to develop my skills in corrective exercise and performance enhancement training.  My experience with exercise as therapy greatly influences the way I practice chiropractic.

In the Community:

I have been the head coach of the Acalanes wrestling team for the past 12 years.  Helping teach the young people in our community has been a wonderful opportunity, and I have enjoyed every moment.  Working with student athletes has been extremely rewarding, and I’m fortunate enough to have some of the alumni that I have coached come back to help with the program.  Go Dons!
