Dr. Chance Biography

Education:

I have been treating patients in the East Bay with effective, gentle, research based chiropractic care since 2007.  I am an East Bay native, having grown up in Martinez and attending De La Salle High School in Concord.  I received my Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology from San Diego State University in 2001.  I went back to school a few years later and received my Doctor of Chiropractic Degree from Life Chiropractic College West in 2007.

Professional Experience:

Since receiving my BS in 2001, I have worked in the East Bay as a personal trainer / strength coach.  Through my work in the fitness industry, I was able to develop my skills in corrective exercise and performance enhancement training.  My experience with exercise as therapy greatly influences the way I practice chiropractic.

It has been an honor to work as the Saint Mary’s College Athletic Chiropractor since 2019. Working with all sports to manage injuries, and return athletes to play.

In the Community:

I was fortunate to work as the head wrestling coach at Acalanes High School from 2004-2016 working with student athletes to meet their goals, manage weight, and support them through their journey. Since then, I have worked as a coach for my son’s baseball and soccer teams. I very much enjoy working with young athletes to develop their skills.
